Warren Buffet

When Warren Buffet first invested in Berkshire Hathaway in 1962, it was a struggling textile company; today, it’s a $360 billion empire.



First described by Horner in 1837, he Z-plasty was the first flap introduced with an emphasis on a mathematical approach to solve a skin problem.

Possibly the most interesting place on earth, the Svalbard Global Seed Vault in Norway is built in a mountain to withstand any natural or man-made disaster. It was created to preserve worldwide plant seeds in case of a worldwide catastrophe, and is free for any country to deposit or store its fauna. Check out the official website here.

Swedish number

In 1766, Sweden was the first country to abolish censorship. Today marks the 250th anniversary of that date, and to celebrate, the country launched an interesting campaign whereby anyone can call a designated country line that connects them to a random person in Sweden so that they can chat. Local numbers are available for certain countries.
